Grand Hyatt in Kauai - best week ever even if I couldn't drink
Kathleen and Chris DeCristo getting hitched
Annual Tahoe trip with friends
Early Xmas with family
Baby's first Xmas
Meeting little Eli Davis Weiss
Hoping to meet Baby Muir soon
Having three friends also become pregnant and getting to share the experience
Watching Tate discover the world around him day by day
Introducing him to the rest of his family
Celebrating the continued success of Neal's business

Not So Great...
C Section and recovery
Sleepless nights
Being called ma'am or lady with the baby
Being seated at a table in the corner in the waaaay back because we have a baby
Trying to figure out what is making the baby upset and fix it
Going back to work and leaving Tate with a sitter
Losing the 'baby weight'
Constant worry about a 10lb bundle of joy
Being very far from Tate's grandparents

Cousins

Kathleen, Chris, Mitchell and baby Owen Holtzer stopped by this week. Owen and baby Tate met for the first time. Tate wasn't the best host - more interested in catching some final mid-morning zzzzzzz's.

Ready for Prime Time

Tate is eagerly awaiting Christmas. His stocking is hung...he's eyed the presents under the tree with his name on them and he's ready to tear into some sweet gifts. Baby Tate is starting to discover the world around him. He's beginning to coo and smile when mommy and daddy enter his little world. He's also discovered shadows on the wall which he watches endlessly despite some really cool crib toys. For Tate life is pretty good. We love our little guy .
